Meet the faces of Emerald Expectations Accounting!

Kimberly Ferguson, MSA, EA

My name is Kimberly Ferguson, and I'll be doing your accounting! My background is in Aviation and Accounting, but I started my career in customer service. For over 10 years now, I have been professionally serving the public, and I never grow tired of it! Whether you are shy, outgoing, pessimistic, or just plain happy - I want to get to know you, and learn about your needs for your small business, and for your family. It's why I’m here!

I began college as an Aeronautical Science major and received my pilot's license. But while studying for my Business Management minor, I discovered Accounting. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, I started working for a bookkeeping firm. I began as a Bookkeeping Assistant, and quickly worked my way up to the Chief of Operations. It was then that I realized that we needed to have a tax professional to work with who cared about our clients the way that I did.

I immediately began studying to obtain my Enrolled Agent status, and my Masters in Accountancy. Now, I work with my clients to fulfill all of their bookkeeping and accounting needs in one convenient location.

Jeremy Ferguson, BA

My name is Jeremy Ferguson and I’ll be doing your Reconciliations, Payroll and Premium Fund Audits. My education was mainly in film and the arts, but I’ve explored many different careers over the years including Truck Driver and Comic Book Creator. I’ve also spent many years working on home renovations with my father and also as an officer for Homeland Security for over 5 years.

Though my past jobs have been varied, one of my strengths is a great attention to detail and the ability to solve problems creatively. The same patience that gives me the ability to create a painting (like the ones on this website) with thousands and thousands of brush strokes also enables me to work on our clients’ accounts with that same desire for accuracy, detail, and truth.

In the four years that I’ve been in accounting with my wife Kimberly, I’ve been constantly striving to make all the work that I do as accurate and precise as possible. My great hope is that by striving for perfection in our clients’ accounting, I will help enable them to maintain the freedom to do what they love most.
